The Payment Standard is the maximum monthly rent a voucher holder can use toward an apartment. Housing Alliance Houston publishes updated Payment Standards each year, typically in early January.

Property owners receive Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) through secure Direct Deposit for timely, reliable access to funds.

Direct Deposit Enrollment:
  • Direct Deposit Authorization Form
  • Copy of voided check
  • Completed W-9
  • Valid email & phone
