Alongside our Community Engagement Team, we hosted a Resident Council Swearing-In and Pinning Ceremony, welcoming 35 board members representing 10 HHA public housing communities.
The event provided an opportunity to connect with resident leaders, reflect on The Power of Resident Leadership, and share a clear overview of the HHA 2026 Annual Agency Plan. Gathering together reinforced the value of open dialogue, collaboration, and shared purpose.
The experience underscored an important truth: meaningful progress is built through unity. We are grateful to these dedicated individuals who are stepping forward to serve their communities and the city of Houston.
